Pentecostal Lighthouse Church

Pentecostal Lighthouse Church was organized in 1972, largely through the leadership and efforts of Elder Johnny and Lucille Burrell. Bishop Burrell served for three and a half years as an assistant pastor in Decatur, Alabama under Bishop Andrew Strong. He was led by God to go to Huntsville, AL. From 1972 to 1977 the church was known as Pentecostal Faith Mission and was located at 421 Eldridge Drive, Huntsville. It was a one room storefront church with 7 members.

In 1977 the church changes its name to "Pentecostal Lighthouse Church". Membership at the church grew and the church relocated to Stokes Street until 1980. The congregation moved again to 201 Parkway Drive in January of 1980. God soon blessed the church with a new church building located at 6107 Blue Springs Rd. The first service was held on May 21, 1989. Pentecostal Lighthouse is affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW), Indianapolis, Indiana. PLC is also a District Training Facility for Aenon Bible College. Over the course of 30 years approximately 1000 souls have been added to the church roster. Many have gone out and established works in other areas. PLC strives to be an "Effective Ministry", on the move for God.
