Matt Linton - Evangelist

Website:
Evangelist Matt Linton

Matt was born on March 22, 1980 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. After graduating from high school in 1998 he went on to major in Theology at Northeast Christian College in Fredericton, N.B. In the summer of 2001, in between his 2nd and 3rd year of college, he married Cynara Cowan who had just graduated from Northeast Christian College. During his 3rd and final year of college Matt served as youth pastor at the Harvey United Pentecostal Church in Harvey Station, N.B. In the spring of 2002 he graduated from Northeast Christian College.

It was at this time in their life that the Linton’s went to serve in the country of Guatemala as a part of the Associates in Missions program of the U.P.C.I. They lived in Guatemala City for a period of six months where they performed such duties as duplicating Bible College and evangelism material, traveling to other cities to hold services, and assisting the missionaries in any way possible.

In 2003 Matt received his ministerial license with the United Pentecostal Church International and it was in June of the same year that they went to Barrie, Ontario to fulfill the role of Associate Pastor at “Oasis of Hope Church”. They stayed there until April 2006. Matt has now released his first c.d. entitled “Cry Out” and he now travels full time on the road with his wife Cynara and two children, Malaki and Selah, preaching and singing in churches all over North America.

Thank the Lord for all that he has done!
